Later this week, Huawei will launch the Mate 30 series. The company is holding an event on Thursday, September 19 where we expect to see the Huawei Mate 30 Pro, Mate 30 and Mate 30 Lite smartphones. The first two phones will bee high-end flagships that will be powered by the new Kirin 990 SoC. The Mate 30 Lite will be a mid-range smartphone with a quad camera setup. This and more have now been revealed by popular tipster Evan Blass, who has posted a series of renders and promo images of the Mate 30 series, which also includes a Mate 30 Porsche design.

Blass tweeted what look like official renders and images of the entire Huawei Mate 30 lineup of phones. Let’s start with the Mate 30 Pro, which is the company’s premium flagship phone. The promo image clearly shows off the design of the phone, which is in line with past renders. We see a curved “waterfall” display on the front with a wide notch on top to house the selfie camera and possibly some advanced facial recognition sensors. Apart from the notch, the bezels around the display look slim including the chin.

The back of the Mate 30 Pro looks unique as it gets a large rounded module to house quad cameras. There is no word on the exact specs of the cameras, but we hear Huawei my use two 40MP sensors and a periscope zoom lens. The LED flash is on the outside of the circular camera setup and there is no rear-mounted fingerprint sensor, so it will offer an in-display sensor.

Next up is a render of the standard Mate 30. We only get the see the front of the phone, which reveals an edge-to-edge display with possible curved edges. The notch is smaller than the one on the Mate 30 Pro, but wide enough to house two camera sensors. The Mate 30 may also get a circular camera setup on the back, but we cannot confirm this just yet.

The Mate 30 Lite will be a mid-range smartphone that may come with a Kirin 810 mid-range SoC. The Mate 30 Lite render reveals that the phone will offer a punch-hole display on the front and a curved glass rear panel. On the back, we see a square-shaped module with a quad camera setup and a fingerprint sensor.

Lastly, Huawei will also announce a Mate 30 Porsche Design model, much like it did with the Mate 20 last year. The Porsche edition will come with special Porsche-inspired leather finish on the back in red and black colour options. A strip of glass can be seen down the middle that will house four cameras with Leica lenses, Porsche Design logo and Huawei branding. The front will be similar to the Mate 30 Pro with a waterfall screen and a wide notch, carefully hidden thanks to a black-themed wallpaper.

With the renders of the Mate 30 series now outed, the only thing to look forward to is the official specs and pricing of the Mate 30 phones, which will be announced on September 19.
