Found Inside A Metal Llama Building

The end is nigh for Fortnite season 9 and the entire 100 Fortbyte challenge. We are down to just two left, including today’s Fortbyte #21, which is found inside a metal llama building. Tomorrow’s, #38, will be the last of the 100 entirely.

For this one, you are tasked with visiting an old location. Fortnite has slowly been building out an entire series of sculptures around the map from crabs to foxes to sleds to turtles, but the metal llama building is the original, and I can’t even remember which season it started appearing in.

You are heading to the north west corner of the map above Junk Junction for this, which you can find on the map below.

My advice would be to land on the llamas back directly, because otherwise you’re going to need to farm up a little to get materials to get up to its back, which could shave precious time off beating others to the Fortbyte.

You want to land on the llama’s back and find this door which leads into the back of its neck.

Once you open that, go down the tiny ramp and you will see Fortbyte #21 right in front of you. As you can see in my screenshot below, a bunch of crazy people destroyed the entire structure. Good job guys!

Given that this is one of the last Fortbytes, I assume that it will be swarmed with other players, and if there’s one thing I’ve learned in this process, out of any group of five people trying to scramble to get a Fortbyte, there is always one jerk who will run for a weapon and try to murder everyone before they pick it up. Since I am always there pausing to take a screenshot for this article, I almost always die to gunfire or to people hacking at me. On very rare occasions I have gotten to have some nice dance parties with chill people, but that’s probably only 20% of the time. Most of the time, I’m dead.

Anyway, this will be my last Fortbyte guide. Erik is doing the one tomorrow, so I am signing off with this big dumb llama. I have very much enjoyed writing 30 or so of these over the past few months, I hope they’ve helped you out, and I hope that Epic does something similar to this in season 10, because I’ve very much enjoyed this hunt and all this guide-writing. See you out there.
