With just over a week left in the season, and just a couple days left before the Utopia challenge reward, the Singularity skin, unlocks, we are into our last days of the Fortbyte challenges.
Fortbytes are one of the best additions to Season 9, and I really hope we get something like them in Season 10. It’s fun to have a daily scavenger hunt, but also to unlock bytes by completing weekly challenges. It keeps things interesting, especially in a season with fewer similar challenges.
Today’s Fortbyte #34 takes us to one of the most iconic places on the Fortnite map: The giant fork and knife near Fatal Fields, a play on the game’s nickname, Fork-knife.
Here’s where you’ll find Fortbyte #34:
Head to the tunnel connecting the two indented silverware landmarks and be careful. When I flew down there I think there were two dozen other players. It was bloody chaos.
You’ll want to find the tunnel connecting the fork and the knife in order to nab Fortbyte #34. Don’t worry, you don’t need any special emotes, skins or sprays in order to acquire it. Just land, stay alive, interact with the Fortbyte and run for your life (or snag a couple cheap eliminations).
In other Fortnite news, the new Airstrike item just landed in the game today. I haven’t played with it yet but it sounds fun, at least if it’s anything like the similar hero power in Apex Legends.
Meanwhile, the final 14 Days Of Summer challenge dropped yesterday: Destroy grills with the Low n’ Slow harvesting tool. We have a guide for that right here.
Don’t worry, you still have just over six days to complete all the Summer challenges and earn all the free rewards they grant upon completion.
Best of luck down there, young padawans! May the force of others be with you.
